About the Chamber
The Lāna’i Chamber of Commerce is a dedicated organization committed to the growth and development of Lāna‘i’s businesses and its community. The goal of the Lāna‘i Chamber of Commerce is to create an environment that promotes business while preserving the culture, values, resources and uniqueness of Lāna‘i. Through advocacy, strong leadership and member-focused initiatives, the Lāna‘i Chamber of Commerce strives towards creating a forum for businesses to share and learn from matters regarding their interests. The Lāna‘i Chamber of Commerce’s commitment to the future of Lāna‘i includes supporting new ventures for those interested in investing in the community and its prosperity.
What are Member Dues?
Member dues are currently set at $37.50 for a Business or Associate Membership through the end of 2017.
Objectives – The objectives of this organization shall be:
I. Procure and encourage adaptation and implementation of laws and regulations desirable for the benefit of business in general, and provide for a forum for the reflection of the sentiments of business regarding matters affecting its interests;
II. Preserve the competitive enterprise system of business by creating a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of the business community and a concern for their problems;
III. Promote business and community growth and development by:
A. – Designing economic programs to strengthen and expand the income potential of all businesses on Lanai;
B. – Encouraging programs of a civic, social and cultural nature which are designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the community; and
C. – Discovering and correcting abuses that prevent the promotion of business expansion and community growth.
IV. To nurture the relationship between Lanai’s uniqueness, cultural and natural resources and businesses that enhance the values that set Lanai apart from most areas of the Hawaiian Islands.
